It doesn't have to be you against the bank!

Have you ever applied for a bond directly with one of the big banks?

It seems straight forward, they give you a list of information they need, you provide just that, and voila you have your bond... or is it really that simple?

What happens if you need to explain your situation to them, you might have lost your job a year ago and went through a dip. You might have gotten divorced or even as simple as recently paid up your motor finance that gives you more disposable income for this repayment but it still reflects on your credit profile.

The problem with going directly to the banks with something as big as buying a property is that they more often than not see things black and white. They look at their list of requirements and if you do not fit into their box they decline you, without asking any questions.

This is why I would suggest you make use of an experienced mortgage originator such as MortgageMax Advanced to do the application on your behalf. Not only is this service absolutely free, but because of our experience in doing this every day and our relationship with each of the banks we know how to present your case to them for consideration.

And what happens if for whatever reason they still come back and decline, we have the relationship with them and more specifically the relationship with right people in the bank, to explain your situation in a way that it makes sense to them. And this might just be the turning point to getting your bond approved!

So the next time you are buying a property, whether it is your first property, an investment or even a smaller place to retire in, why not give us a shout to take on this task for you?
